Painter leaves J Johnson in the entire game?

And if Johnson breaks an ankle while up 22 and misses the rest of the season? There's a shot clock involved, it's not about running up the score...whoever's in is going to try to score...it's the appearance of d-baggery in leaving starters in for no reason when you supposedly want to win a tourney or 2.

It's not my team, so I don't care...it just looks like a d-bag move...especially when you're on the short end of it.

I could see the selection committee thinking, the #6 ranked team only beat THIS team by 23?

No DDT, but the committee probably does take into account "point spread covers" as part of their weeding out process when seeding team A over team B and stuff.

Too bad.

I cant believe that Iowa fans care about Purdue keeping their starters in for about 4 extra possessions. Should we bag on coach K for keeping Scheyer in the game until a couple minutes left? Scheyer couldve gotten hurt and ruined Duke's season....

These guys play THOUSANDS of possessions in games and practices during the course of the season. The odds of getting hurt are slim.

Also, how does this equate to whether we play them in football or not? This board has been bizarre today

Why? Because he's assembled a great staff, great team that plays hard, is 1st place in the Big Ten, and ranked in the top 10 in the country?

Yeah I can see why there may not be much to like.
