Do we need to worry about Marble going pro now?

Not worried about him leaving early but last night was the first time that I thought he may have a shot after next year.

Whoa Whoa Whoa, that caller was admittedly not an Iowa fan and probably wants Dev to go. All Clones think that the NIT doesn't matter. Why would a good few games in the NIT be the end all be all now?

I was thinking this as well but he still needs to polish his game more before making that jump. He also doesn't want to try to make that jump to early and never get his chance in the NBA. It seems like he has been playing at a whole different level after making the announcement that he is coming back, so I wonder if mentally it was getting to him.

Yes, last night was the first real time for me where I thought he really had nba level play. If he continued like that next year he will be a very good player in the big, true difference maker. He played very well

He is not listed in the top 100 NBA prospects on DraftExpress,so no, no worries about Dev going pro this year.

One of the 10 greatest NBA players ever, Larry Bird, played for Indiana State. We just trucked Indiana State and Marble had a monster game against them. At some point, these athletes want to get that next level of challenge and the Stony Brooks of the world just don't cut it.

Wait until he drops 30 in the 'Mecca. He is as good as gone if that happens.

Spike Lee will be wearing a black #4 RDM jersey.

I think his spot is at the point though. Seems to play very well there and likely his spit in the league. If I were him I'd spend the summer working in ball handling and his outside shot.

Really hope he ends up on an NBA team but that would not happen if he went early.

While he has looked very good the last few weeks, he still needs to develope a better move to his weak side and get stronger with the ball. He looks much better when he tries to stick and shoot than dribble by a guy. Don't get me wrong he has shown flashes but he still isn't cosistently good at dribble penetration. If he declares he won't get drafted and would need to fight his way out of the D league.

That's because he took his name out of the draft.

No, he has not been listed all season. Guys like Gary Harris, frosh at MSU are listed (#21) even tho it is very unlikely he will come out. Dev just does not project to be drafted this year.

RDM will have a hard time making it in the NBA, if he has any shot at all it would be as a point guard and I do not think is ball handling skills are there. He does not shoot well enough on the perimeter to play the 2 and does not have the size for the 3. He is a long shot to ever get on an NBA roster.

Ball handling and three point shot (very flat) and he could def have a shot. And I haven't said that until last night. He looked strong, made very tough mid range shots, had a three showing he can do that, and went to the hole. If he continues to be well rounded like that, he does have a chance.but regardless of the pros, I want him to be good for us next year first.
