Do we have any difference makers left?

McNamara probably wasn't, but lost to very good tight ends and now DeJean Who is going to make a big play for us QB no, RB pretty average, Wide receivers Up till now really pretty bad,
On defense we have some very good players but DeJean was the guy who could turn it around. Maybe Castro?

Never route against Iowa but I really dread playing Michigan or Ohio State with whats left of this team

A great opportunity for someone to step up. That may be happening in the Tight End room and could happen elsewhere.

It's all the more impressive what Iowa has accomplished. Cooper Dejean is my favorite Iowa player ever, of all time. Him being out completely sucks cause he's the reason I tune in. That said, Iowa has plenty of "difference" makers all over the field. Iowa is ranked 16th in the country, when can fans start to appreciate that and act like it?

Being scared of the conference championship game because of optics is the weakest shit ever, how do watch or appreciate football or competitive sports on any level? Teams lose. Teams get embarrassed. It's part of sports. Things don't always go your way but nut the F up and stop being such a loser.

Re-watched the Rutgers game. Our back up TE’s blocked like demons. On the right side Colby and Dunker need to be arrested for assault. Our back up center did a great job. According to KF, we have 2 RB’s who are ahead of last year’s starter, who set an Iowa freshman record by gaining over 800 yards. I will be very interested to watch our run game on Saturday. Our difference makers may already be in place. Now. Deacon. Be consistent, take the easy throws.

O-line

Who is healthy and who isn't. Give me the status of those dudes and I will tell you if they end up 10-2 or 8-4. Logan Jones is arguably their best lineman and I have no clue if he is even playing this Saturday. Richman at this point is just playing on guts.

I think that Kaleb Brown got a big confidence boost last week and could be a big playmaker. The question is can hill get him the ball????

I got in my mind that #21 has a lot of upside and needs more touches. I also think Brown could be a difference maker. I hope they look for ways to get the ball to them

I'd give Wetgen a chance at some receiver downs. He's surely fast enough to get behind a defense, and just bomb's away. The defenders would see him run by once they would at least take notice.

Maybe he can develop into a Charlie Jones type. We could use a player like that.
