DJK Injury

When I watched the replay of the DJK inury, it looked like he may have had a concussion. Obviously, if that was the case, he wouldn't have been allowed to come back. But when they showed him sitting up on the ground, it looked like he only had 1 eye open and was dazed. Did Kirk address what happened with DJK after the game? I didn't get to listen to the post game. Any help on the info would be appreciated. Thank you

They said on TV they gave him the tests and he passed. Should be ok

He locked up for about 30 seconds where he couldnt move at all. He took a good shot to the head on that play I was glad that the concussion bug had not returned for its second hawk in a week.

It actually looked like he twisted his hip or something to me. Didn't look like a concussion and i'm sure it wasn't. No way in hell our staff puts him back on the field if that's the case.

My first thought was his shoulder and thats why he didnt move. He was back out there so hopefully it was nothing.

I'm pretty certain he had a concussion, but it appears it was very minor. His arm locked up after the hit, and that is very common after a concussion. Not to mention the sideline reporter stating that our training staff had him taking eye and balance tests. Trust me, if the concussion was a bad one he would not have had the impact after the incident that he did. DJK will be monitered throughout practice this week I am sure, but it appears that for now everything is okay.
