DJK close to 3 receiving records

We all know DJK is tied with the great Kevin Kasper (97-00) for career receptions, and one more will give him that record this weekend. But did you also know that he is approaching yet another milestone? With 5 regular season games left, and presumably a bowl game after that of some sort or another, DJK is on pace to break the career TD record at Iowa, currently held by our beloved, Tim Dwight (94-97) at 21 TDs.

DJK is currently at 15 career TDs, and would need just one TD per game (including bowl game) to tie that record. In doing so, he would have broken the single season TD reception record as well.

Maurice Brown (2002) owns that with 11 TDs in a season. DJK is currently at 8 TDs this year. 3 more and he ties, 4 he owns. And if he somehow can manage (perhaps against Minnesota) a great game, he can own the single game TD record.

Ed Hinkel (2005) owns that tied with Quinn Early (1987) at 4TDs in a game. We got close already this season, and that would be icing on the proverbial cake if he can manage that (again, Minny is his best shot for that...or maybe Indiana's bad defense).

I think the icing is proverbial too.
