Would the lack of there being a connection (for Iowa and DJ/Aaron) be better and ideal? Well sure. But it is what it is. They are brothers. Close brothers that grew up together with football being a part of their life and who am I to bash DJ for loving his brother unconditionally? It doesn't mean he condones anything he's done. I couldn't imagine being in his shoes and I don't want to. From what I've heard DJ has done a great job coaching and hasn't been a problem in any way with his own behavior so that's what I'll focus on.
 
Come on... He's supporting his brother, period. Doesn't mean he supports what his brother is accused of doing.
 
DJ and Aaron were extremely close. There is a great article that was written a year or so back out on the interwebs about Aaron. It had a lot to say about his relationship with DJ. Maybe someone can find that article and post it.

In the meantime, I doubt that any of us could just stop loving or caring about a close sibling regardless of what happened. You can still love a person without agreeing or supporting what they have done.
 
Are we really sure Kirk didn't murder all those people? I mean we know he is friends with Belichick and they probably like to shoot stuff together like any friends do, then why not kill a bunch of random people and blame it on the second best tight end in New England? I think he gave an interview where he said his favorite short story is The Most Dangerous Game and then let out a creepy laugh like "heh".
