I’m old and have an old way of thinking I guess, but this shit blows my mind. I understand the concept and need of the SWARM to be competitive, but basically paying a kid on a platform similar to venmo is fukn ridiculous.
Say you get another Proctor so this kid just quits and keeps your fukn money? Am I at Starbucks drive through? That’ll be $20 but there is a quick question first… did you notice I had two catches for 23 yards? Would you like to add a tip of 20%, 25% or 30%?
Fukn college football players will be making more money than the average person “donating” so their team will “hopefully” be competitive.
I’m a die hard fan fyi and have been for 40+ years… but this shit is a huge fukn turnoff. How ever did the players manage before multimillion dollar NIL deals and donations. Do I believe they should be compensated, no doubt. But I also have an 18 year old son and a younger daughter and this shit blows my mind.

My wife and i love watching every hawkeye mainstream sport there is. We're not donors nor will we ever be. Simply put we have higher priorities we invest in. We do and will continue to support the program by going to games, buying apparel, and watching whenever the Hawks are on tv. My life does not change if the hawks are 1-10 in football or 10-1.
