Didn't realize we were playing Duke tonight

In my 30 years of being a Hawk fan, that first half performance may go down as one of the worst I have witnessed. I know we are young, have a new coach, etc., etc., but getting blown out at home against Northwestern is somewhat surprising. Northwestern has a nice team but Northwestern "ain't" Ohio State so no excuse for this performance.

This is a pivotal point in the season ... If the Northwestern game continues as is, that will be back-to-back blowouts (and back-to-back very poor performances). Will be interesting to see which direction the team heads ...

When it is all said and done (factoring all of the elements) there really is no excuse for this blowout at home to Northwestern.

No, there isn't. Everyone wanted to tell me that Purdue is just that good even though I didn't buy that. It is like I said after that game, it isn't that they lost it is they didn't even compete. They came out in this game the exact same way. Zero intensity on either end of the floor. And I don't care who this team is playing when they do that they will get blown out. They have to play balls out every minute of every game in this league just to compete let alone win. Apathy may be setting in for this season if this crap continues.
