Did we Underestimate Nate Stanley?

I know I did. CJ Beathard is one of my favorite Hawk QBs off all time but he never did what Nate Stanley did this afternoon ...

1) Throw for 333 yards
2) Complete 5 TDs with 0 INTs
3) Do the above on the road in a hostile environment

CJ's most passing yards in a game was 278 against N. Texas. CJ never completed more than 3 TDs in a game.

Nate could be great.

I was hoping to see Nate in a game last year. He's solid and at 6'5 he is has the physical attributes for a pro style QB.

I didn't only cause I didn't know what to make of him. I think his future is very bright though. Guys got an arm. Throws a beautiful ball!!

I knew he would throw for 5 TDs. And I knew he would throw for 333 yards. And I knew our FB would get a long reception.

"WE" Don't all think alike

Couple things:

  1. Iowa has better WRs this year. Not great, but better.
  2. Stanley is not hamstrung by the garbage OC that shall not be named.
  3. Still needs a lot of work on the deep balls.
