I checked Erie Bayhawks and he is not on roster. I check Orlando Magic roster , he is still there.... What's up with that?

He is back. He played 21 minutes Friday night and 7 minutes last night for the Magic. That is coming off of an illness last week... Coach Vaughn is quoted as wanting his defensive minutes. There was an echo of that from Fran in Iowa City. Plus his outside scoring. Plus his dribble drives. Plus...about everything our current guards were recruited to do, but are under performing so far this season. Let's hope that changes quickly!

Pretty abnormal to see much talk about the NBA this time of the year. But having a hawk player on a roster helps. I just get frustrated how national tv games are only on week nights when I'm working, so it's only Bulls for me to see usually.

The year isn't finished yet. If Iowa plays in a 2nd round NCAA game this year, then yes they are better. If they get stuck in the NIT, then they are worse.

I disagree. Making it past the play-in game doesn't automatically make this team better. Achieve more, sure. But last year's team was better than this one, IMO.

I get what you are saying, but what is the best way to judge a team? By how far that teams goes, as everything else is so subjective. Your record is what it is, and you are what your record says you are. Every team you can go back and say stuff like KF did, that Iowa was 5 pts away from a B1G west championship.....what he left out is we were also 8 pts away from a 5-7 season. In the end you are what your record says you are. You are never as good as your best win, and never as bad as your worse loss.

Sports are about results, and IDK how "good" the team was last year (they should have been a 4-6 seed), the reality is the results proved they were the very definition of a bubble team, and a 12 seed. If this team gets a 10 seed, it is a better team, the records and results would make that case.

Dev was in the starting lineup again tonight and put up 5 points (2-of-4 shooting), 5 boards, 4 assists and 3 steals in a win over the Bulls. He'll get sent back to the bench after Tobias Harris gets back, but he looks like he might be playing his way into the primary rotation.
