Did D'Antonio vote his own team #1?

If not, who the heck did? That's just dumb....they might not even be in the Top 4 of their own conference.

Yeah, weird, I havent seen a lot of their game action but the BTN tv people keep mentioning their secondary is not as good as years past and I have noticed they dont have that big running game and their tackling is shoddy. That will get you some Ls.

To me Michgans ranking is worse. With how they've dominated their opponents I would say they are the best 1 loss team in the nation hands down and should have jumped far more then they did after beating NW.

Michigan is clearly right now the best team in the conference ... they hung with Utah on the road in the opener and frankly Utah gets my vote right now as the top team in the country

Utah has played a much stronger schedule than Michigan ... Booker is a Heisman Candidate ... they are deserving of the top spot in the country right now

Honestly, UM looks good...but I really don't think the Wildcats are as good as advertised...so...jury is still out...wouldn't surprise me at all if MSU makes Rudock and the wolverines look pedestrian and wins somewhere in the neighborhood of 24-14 vs UM.

I'm really not sold on the Big Ten right now, or many other conferences...really there may be more parity this year than I can remember in quite a while. Through the first 6 weeks of the season, all I know is: the hawks are 6-0 and a lot of the "elite" Big Ten teams...look very human. I will say if I had to rank right now...UM is #1 in BIG, and Iowa-MSU-OSU are in some order behind them.

But like I said, wouldn't surprise me if UM is kind of a mirage.

This is why the "old" triumvirate of voting in order to establish the two BCS championship-game teams was so bogus.
- Sports writers (homers, ignorant of other programs)
- Coaches (homers, often gave duty to others to vote)
- Computer (lol...huh?)

Need to enlarge playoffs to eight teams (no automatic qualifiers), seed them, give the higher seed a 1st round home field game for a season-long reward, and college FB life would be perfect.

Sparty has serious problems! Because of injuries, the offensive line is a mess. Sound familiar!
