Dickerson named All-American

I'm definitely eager to see what Trey can contribute this year and the years to follow. The thing that stuck out to me in that article was the piece of it that talked about Brady Ellingson.

from the article…..

Shooting guard Brady Ellingson (6-4) of Sussex Hamilton (Wis.) was named second-team all-state despite missing several weeks with mononucleosis. Ellingson scored 38 of his team’s 49 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer, in a regional final victory against Kettle Moraine. Ellingson was double-covered on his buzzer-beater.
“Ellingson is a star. Iowa has a heck of a player coming,” Kettle Moraine assistant coach Mike Serath told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “What else could we do on that last shot? We got two guys right in his face and he still drilled it.”

Hopefully the trend continues during the big ten season

Out of the twenty guys on the junior college all-American team only five were freshmen. Dickerson was one of the five. All the guys coming in so far look like they will be great additions to the team.
