Good to see the Mason City sports writer finally getting up to speed. There are many Hawkeye fans that know who Roy Marble is because of his son. They keep showing Roy Marble on camera because they know all of us older Hawk fans get a chubby every time we think of those Tom Davis glory years and to remind you young punks who his dad is.

I'm just hoping Roy gets more airtime on TV. It would be nice if they show him once in awhile and discuss that he is Iowa's all time leading scorer and he is at every game. It's a great story line and one that just doesn't seem to come up enough.
