Anybody else upset with the development of the players from last year to this year and even years before?
The whole team just looks physically and mentally weak. They get pushed around all the time. The players looked the same ever since their first day on campus. Not saying putting on muscle is always a good thing in bball but jeez we got physically dominated. We were scared to go into the lane and draw a foul. That second half especially. Aaron White is a great bball player but I think everybody knew he had to work on his shot this off season. To me, it still seems like he hasn't. He made one tonight but he is still hesitant to shoot. He's shown us he has the ability so it's not like gaining a jumper is too far of a reach. Jok looks the exact same. Thats really the biggest disappointment to me. He needed to be the one who stepped up and established himself as a scorer. Gessel, exact same. Clemmons, looked the same tonight. Uthoff and Woody are about the only ones who I can tell have made strides. Our upperclassman should have tons of confidence with how much experience they have and they look like dead scared. They have done what they did tonight 100 times. Same Story. I don't understand how they don't finally say, enough is enough.
