Derrick Willies

I was thumbing through the Lindys College football magazine and noticed they had Derrick as the newcomer of the year in the Big 12. Not only that but the picture they used was Derrick's Hawkeye picture with the black and gold tie

I know that he is old news, but it is kind of unfortunate that Wide Receiver is the really only glaring deficiency of the team. Couple of good wide receivers and this offense could be really good. Maybe one or two of the young guys will do it?

I have been missing the Willies thread. 12-0 and we still can't get over the one guy who just didn't fit in with the team. If we go 8-4, I put the over/under on Willies threads at 5.

Seriously though, to this day I'll never forget the day I rolled into Waterloo and saw that there was an actual dealership named Dick Witham Ford. I mean if you buy a car from there, doesn't it imply that you might get screwed?
