i went to rivera's final yankee home game last year - i was hoping to do the same for jeter this year, but don't think i am going to get it done..

it is amazing and not a one has a negative thing to say about him....even a nutjob like mariah carey speaks highly of him.

defensively, you can make an argument he was a little overrated......3,000 hits, absolute clutch at money time, need to check, but i believe he is in the top 10 all time in runs scored. i got no beef with him being a 1st ballot HOF'er.
