Depth and Shooting

It's going to be interesting to see who plays next year. I honestly don't remember Iowa having these types of options in young players, plus the nucleus of veterans coming back. After being so inconsistent from three over the past few years, this year's team appears to have several guys that can flat out stroke it. Jok and Uthoff we know can do it in B10 games...Gesell appears to have his shot back, and now you throw in Jones who made 99 of 215 last year in Juco and is lighting up the PTL from three. Clemmon's shot looks good too.

Then you throw in Fleming (25 and 23 points) and Ellingson...these guys can shoot it. Hutton's three ball looks good also.

I know it's early...but what was a weakness...may have just become a major strength and will force defenses to defend much differently.

I can't wait to watch this team.

Uh ya man, middle of the summer, hot chicks runnin' around, I get excited too.....oh bball you're talkin.....I never ever wanna wish time away, but this is going to be a fun year to watch w/the newbies comin' in...cannot wait

This is going to be a very good team. I look forward to seeing this team play. I think the play will be up tempo and they will shoot a high % from the field.
