Defense wins Championships!

Thank God things are right in the football universe! Finesse is for figure skating, fast breaks are for basketball. Lockdown, tooth-rattling, gritty defense is for football!
 
The patriots defense is sneaky good. The gave up lots of yards early in the season when whole secondary was hurt. they are above avg against the run with the two fat boys at tackles, wilfork and the other guy.

There secondary seems pretty good now as they are getting pass rush from some linebackers.

Actually the texans defense might be better against the pats than the ravens.
 
Caar, have you watched an NFL game this season? With the new rules favoring QB's and WR's defense definitely doesnt win championships at least this season

if san fran wins then defense does. giants d is finally waking up. patriots d is playing solid right now. not saying that defense is most important in nfl anymore but it is about the hot defense at the end of the year.

Did you watch the san fran game yesterday? Did the offense or defense win that game?

The Giants D is playing great but I bet the best offense wins this superbowl
 
defense held for most of the game and had some huge plays. but sometimes a lack of defense loses the game. saints = lack of defense.

49ers gave up 500 yards and 32 points...whoever had the ball last was winning that game

Both offenses were dominant late when it matters most

Ummm, no it is not they are going to give up some points in the Super Bowl.
