I dont think the Hawks will have any problem maintaining intenstiy Saturday night. Carver will be rocking.

And I think the opposite is true. I think it would be hard to maintain intensity if the team the Hawks were playing had no pulse.

Agreed. When you play and you know you can do lazy things and still make up for it with your superior athleticism, and make no mistake - the Hawks are athletically superior to the Wildcats, you easily fall into that mindset.

And I also agree that they will have no problems maintaining their intensity Saturday against Wisky.

Debateable........ both teams looked somewhat comparable in the first half. I would guess our depth was a contributing factor in wearing down their D in the second half. I would also guess our depth made us a better defensive team overall as well. I'd be surprised if we see that many open shots or guard that well on the perimeter for awhile again.

MI, MSU, OSU, MN, IL all look to have more speed and athleticism than Iowa but that's not a bad group to be compared with in that respect. Considering all the freshman playing time, I'm feeling good about this team's continued improvement over time.

Its nice to see Iowa take care of buissness the way they did but playing defense on NW is not something to brag about.
