Dee holds to 10 pts for 57 minutes; Offense is fine

Once again the hawk Dee with at least 3 starters out held Minny's offense to 10 pts not counting the 6 and 4 yard TD drives after turnovers and minus the last goof drive. That is great.

Again these two turnovers are pretty tough to have and they both could have been averted.

The passing game did what it needs to do against a loaded box and picked apart the goofs. The run blocking picked up a handful of nice gains but overall couldnt solve the loaded box.

The hawks are showing they can pass the ball.

The defense is very good. I hope the hawks get that winning streak extended.

Welch was listed as Josey's back-up last year. No idea if that's a possibility, but it seems like we may have to use the warm body philosophy...or bring back Bill Brashier and run the ol' 5-2.

I really think Hesse’s natural position is MLB but he probably thought he couldn’t pass Jewel so opted for playing time. He’s all over the field but not sure if he’s too bulked up.
