DB Depth for 2016

I'm looking at the roster and wonder where the following players fall for Iowa:

Omar Truitt
Isaiah Kramme
Michael Ojemudia
John Milani
Kevin Ward
Jake Gervase
Anthony Gair
Joshua Jackson
Greg Mabin
Desmond King
Brandon Snyder
Miles Taylor
Maurice Fleming
Lance Billings
Cedric Boswell
Amani Hooker
Emmanuel Rugamba
Marcel Joly
Jonathan Parker

I know the starters are King, Mabin, Taylor and Snyder. I, also, know Jackson, Fleming and Gair will be backups unless that changes with the development of the others already in the program.

I'd like to see Truitt make it because he's got some solid skills at CB that I've seen. He needs a serious look.

I saw that Joly and Parker could be switching positions. Joly was a DB before going to RB and Parker was a RB then WR. Wonder if this will happen?

Wonder how Billings, Boswell, Hooker and Rugamba will adapt when they arrive on campus?

Any thoughts

There is a lot of talent in this group. Right now Jake Gervase is also in the 2 deeps. Emmanuel Rugamba could very well push for a spot too as well as Michael Ojemudia. It is rare that any team has had this amount of experience returning so the young guys will get some valuable lessons in as they compete for playing time.

I hope and think Parker will stay at WR. Wish they'd find some more creative ways to get him touches besides just that jet sweep. Line him up in the back field and put him in motion. Get him screen passes in space. I see lots of depth at DB and him switching positions now wouldn't get him closer to more PT then he is now. I'd like to think we could find 3 touches a game for him or so next year. We need playmakers on offense and we know he's capable of breaking off big ones.

Finding a way to utilize the talent we have is not Kirk's strong suit.
