Dayton Flyers for real?

I saw that one of our opponents next week, Dayton, Destroyed Alabama by 32. Are they that good or is Alabama that bad?

Little of both. Game was at Dayton, which isn't an easy venue, and I wouldn't be surprised if it takes Avery Johnson a year or two at Alabama to get things rolling. Dayton also won 2 NCAA tournament games last year, and pushed OU before losing by 6, and I think they have most players back.

My piano instructor is from Dayton and follows them closely. He is very very high on his team this year and is excited to see Dayton play the Hawkeyes. Thinks they might be better this year than last and have a good chance of beating Iowa.

I reckon you fellers know this but that Archie Miller can really coach. He is almost as good as his big brother at Arizona. Not a real good matchup for the Hawks so we will need to be on our game.

Why isn't it a good matchup? I don't know anything about the Flyers, so I'm curious.

They seem to be real. But if I drink some more maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and tonight will have just been a bad dream.

Helluva game....Iowa defense is locking them down in the second half. This team is definitely showing toughness. Mike G is definitely the catalyst of this team.

It was a good comeback, but Dayton turned it back on during the final minute, made some big shots.

Bummer.... outscored 11-2 in final minute.
