David Bell, Nick Henrich Visiting Soon

Both 4-stars and key targets for the Hawkeyes in '19.

Bell, a receiver from Indianapolis, told me he's visiting this Friday and Saturday.

Henrich, a LB from Omaha, told me he was visiting next Wednesday, April 4.

I hope the Omaha,eastern Nebraska vein is still open to Iowa. The Hawks have gotten some good ones out of there in the recent past. That's the one part of the Frost to Nebraska that has me the most concerned, is that he'll lift up the drawbridge on the Missouri River, and keep those Nebraska kids at home.

I think Front will make it difficult to pull guys out of there that he wants. I think we have the in with Henrich that levels the playing field. That said, the pursuit for him goes beyond Iowa and Nebraska. He's a national level recruit.

I think being able to walk into Omaha and cherry pick kids like Noah Fant might be tough for us now. But ya never know. We've gotten some others too back when Pelini was still there. So no reason to quit trying.
