Daniels out

Myers out too. I can't remember what happened last time we played a lower level team down two starting olinemen?
 
I think it's good that jackson is starting. I want to see Iowa with a LT body playing LT. I'm assuming that's where the 6'7" jackson will play. the big ? will be at C. Daniels is an All-American type player. Render isn't atp. But Render did flash last season, so I'm hopeful. but btn called for "run heavy" by Iowa which really saddens me to hear. let's throw it 50/50.
 

What does this mean? Myers is too hurt to play tackle but is ok to play guard? Is Alaric the 6th guy but he can't play guard so they moved Boone inside to accommodate?

That's my take on it anyway... Guess we'll see. If Myers is nicked up I don't want him getting pushed or ran around like he's not even there. Keep him out if someone that's physically better can be in there.
 
Welsh and Daniels warmed up last year vs. NDSU, but didn't play. I don't feel so good right now.
 
Well we all know that a freshman wouldn't start over a 3rd year starting senior no matter what. So this injury to Myers is a chance for Jackson to show what he's got. Hopefully he runs with it.
 
Any word on Daniels and how long he's out?

It's great if Jackson is good to go at Tackle but we need Daniels at Center.
