Yeah same here. Buddy hield just walked out the building with the wooden award. He was already a heavy favorite but that sealed the deal
 
Meh. I want to see OU win the Big12. It will make it that much sweeter beating them in the final 4 to get to the NC game.
 
Gotta give 'em this, the Big 12 is loaded. It's so tough, I swear that every Big 12 game that is played, someone gets beat. Amazing conference!

Wait the clones keep saying. I've watched a lot of big twelve games. Outside Oklahoma, not impressed. Not turning this into a conference discussion, but they act like nobody outside their conference stands a chance.
Really hope we don't draw TCU in the tournament!

I agree. They have some good teams but Oklahoma is the cream of the (Big 12) crop IMO. The Big 10 has 3 top 10 teams just like the Big 12. We have Purdue. They have ISU. We have Indiana. They have Texas. I would put our top 5 against their top 5.

They have 6 teams ranked right now. That's pretty good for only having 10 teams. They clearly look better than the Big Ten right now but I'm sure they will lay an egg in the tournament like they always do. I do think Oklahoma will make a run though

JU is having a great year. But honestly, IMHO, Hield is having a better year and deserves the honor. JU should be in the top 2 or three, but sometimes you get beat out. I'm having fun this year .. the first time in a LOOOOOOOOONG time.

The Big 12 is starting to become my SEC of college hoops. Strong conference for sure and they definitely have a couple of contenders, but over-hyped compared to how good it really is. Lots of ranked teams, and they beat up on each other, so everyone in the conference has "big wins". That didn't exactly translate in the big dance last year.

Completely agree. Last year they completely shat the bed in the NCAA tournament. Both #3 teams lost to #14 teams and I believe only 2 Big 12 teams made it to the sweet 16. They completely tanked the postseason.

Is anyone in the big 12 really going to claim that Iowa played a weak conference schedule?
 
Only the clowns play a tough schedule. That is until ISU loses then the Big 12 has the toughest schedule. Nobody in the country has a sos lower than 100. If you don't take my word for it go to cyfan. They're experts on scheduling. Imagine what they could do with IOWA's schedule.
