Lou Holtz on College Football Live said he would have been canned if Colorado had the money to pay him off. Jon and Steve discussed that Colorado won't leave the B12 until 2012 because it will reduce the penalty to leave the B12. There athletic department is broke.

According to reports the penalty money from Nebraska and Colorado is needed to pay Texas A&M a promised $20M per year. Incidentally aTm is hurting for money. Houston Chronicle says they have an offer to go to the SEC if B12 can't come through.
