i knew some wrestlers at iowa during the gable days - let's just say you wouldn't want to disappoint coach gable.
he was known to call at any point in a 24 hour day and to ask what you were doing and why you weren't working out. i prank called one of these guys once - after his wrestling days were over - and he fell for it!
that is how feared/respected gable was.
