Just a thought but another Big Ten school board that I visit has something very similar with daily links to news regarding the school, including football, basketball, alumni, and other sport links, obviously you can make it as detailed as you want but they tack it at the top of the forum each day.
I think that it would be a good idea to tack it up there each day to make it a lot easier to find instead of trying to find it among the other posts.
