They dont call a guick dive or pass play with 6 seconds left, they try a rollout which takes some time, and the receivers have to cross each other and potential for getting tangled up. If the pass is bobbled and pops in the air time might expire by the time the ball hits the ground.
Gutsy, Gutsy. KF not going for the kill and not being aggressive enough is one of my few complaints about him. For someone who basically says 'that's football' meaning 'it is a game' then you should be more aggressive and not worry about losing and failure.
