WOW what has happened to this guy, when he came into the league I liked him and his hard-nosed game, but now I can't stand to watch a game with him on the floor. Understand he is hurtin a bit but come-on he gets breathed on and falls to floor, the guy is on the floor 15-20 times a games, and god help us if the refs call a foul on him. I know he is not the only one like this, but I think he is the best player to do this, and it make him look bad.

sorry rant over

This flopping to draw a foul, by him and many others, when there wasn't one negatively impacts the flow of the game and has made the NBA unwatchable. It's like riding with someone who is learning to drive. Accelerate hard then brake, accelerate hard then brake ad nauseum.

If there was a stat that showed the historical data of the length of game time between when fouls were called I think it would be interesting to see.

If you think the NBA is unwatchable I feel sorry for you. You have missed one helluva playoffs so far.

Sounds like somebody is butt hurt that DWade is better at basketball than him... ;)

The flopping is pretty ridiculous, and almost everybody does it, so I don't know why you're calling out just DWade. Wade is starting to get on the old side being past 30, so he's definitely not what he used to be. I wouldn't call hima "tiny *****" though.

I call him out because that flopping crap is for the lower tier players not for the kind of player I used to think he was, I know they all flop now-a-day but the the great ones don't that much. And for him being better then me Caucasian please

DWade has always hit the floor an inordinate number of times, but as he has aged he has started to look for fouls when he does, unlike in his prime.

He is a bum...that much I do know. An undercover brother, working the Bulls management in the summer of love.

when he started out in the league, he didn't have le ron as a teammate. now he does. coincidence?

sidebar: - le ron calls himself the king, and is serious.........

Lebron cries as much as Wade does. Hell the miami heat act like they are all overdue for nap time.

Hate the game not the players. The players are only a product of the game. Clean the flopping up league wide and the players will stop doing it. While I'm not a D Wade fan, I honestly don't see any difference in the way he, Lebron (who I am a fan of) and others flop and whine about calls compared to any other superstar or role player in the league.

Lebron cries if someone breathes on him, yet gets to bull people over and use his forearm to push off on nearly every drive. If the game weren't officiated like a B1G game and Lebron was actually forced to shoot jumpshots and use finesse, he'd be slightly above average offensively. As much as I hate the guy, he's a tremendous defender.

Well if they weren't calling it when Shaq was in the league, they're not going to call it now. LeBron actually shot over 40% from 3-point range, with 254 attempts. That's not too shabby for not being able to shoot jumpshots, like you're implying.

Right, which isn't even top 25 in the league. I said above average. I agree with the Shaq comment. Consistency would go a long ways.

But is it the players fault for adapting to the way the game is called. I'm not arguing that Lebron doesn't lower his shoulder, but the fact is IMO his game would adapt if they consistently called it a foul. I don't blame the players, I simply think that the league needs to reassess what is and isn't considered a foul and once they figure out how they want the rules to read, enforce them.

IMO it's up to the league to see to it that players play within the rules as they are defined. It is the players responsibility to simply play the game based on how it is called. Lebron isn't going to change anything about the way he is playing the game if the officials are not calling it. Call it cheap, call it whatever you want to, but the fact is that if a player is doing something that he isn't and getting away with it there is no reason why their game should be altered, because they're playing the game the same way they've always been able to.

It is top 27 in the league, which I would consider above average. You have some pretty high standards there.

I totally agree on the consistency thing though, no doubt. Still not as bad as B10 officiating.

Haha! Yeah, had to make myself look good ;) I thought for sure he'd be lower and was surprised to see him that high. Foot in mouth. I guess my disdain for him may have persuaded me to not look at his game objectively :)

What player doesn't this happen too after they are in the NBA for a period of time?

So let me get this straight. Its ok to call athletes tiny little ******* unless they are a Hawkeye? No personal insults is the rule correct? The rule doesnt apply to professional athletes? If so i have a bunch of name calling to catch up on!
