Multi year starting center for ISU Farinok will sit for the CyHawk game due to an MCL strain. Another nut shot for ISU. Look for some snap issues between a new center and a QB with three starts under his belt.

Yep, just like Steele 'Rusty' Jantz had his career game against the hawks. and then was benched a couple weeks later. We know how to make them look good.

Then he came back the next year and beat us again. The guy had like 6 career wins, and 2 of them were against Iowa.

Unknown. They weren't on DirecTV on any real channel so I couldn't watch them.

IIRC, there was one time when it looked like the ball was snapped before Sam was ready for it. Another was snapped low and caused Sam to fumble with it a bit. There was also a false start called not long after Tom went down. Overall, the OL sucked something fierce, so whether that was Tom's absence in the line calls or just general crappy line play, I'm not sure.
