Cyclones pounding Texas

There's 4 quarters in a game. I think Cyclone fans have learned that these past few weeks.

If Texas loses to ISU at home does Charlie Strong get fired tonight immediately as he walks back in the locker room or do they wait until tomorrow morning??

this is like watching Iowa Rutgers

Correct. Iowa and ISU both have mastered dumb penalties.

Texas got their FG only because ISU was flagged for a dead-ball penalty. If ISU can stop shooting themselves in the foot they have a real chance.

I don't hate isu. But them crapping the bed every year plays into the knock on our OOC schedule looking weak.

Not that it really matters this year.

Take the way you feel about ISU on our schedule . . . then multiply it by 1 trillion, that's how I feel about putting NDSU on the schedule.

I don't mind an in state rival being on the schedule. Just wish they won more games after they play iowa.

I also don't think the loss to NDSU was as bad to the one to NW.

But I agree, it was a lose/lose to schedule ndsu.

ndsu was worse. Heck they aren't even a great team in the fcs, the jackrabbits beat them.

They were both bad losses, but the ndsu game only really hurt our cfp chances(and pride, and national perception), which were obviously zero, the NW loss hurt our B1G West chances, which at this point is still unlikely but at least possible.

I'd prefer not to lose at all, but I'll take a OOC loss or loss to a non division opponent over a loss to any divisional opponent.

I believe the NDSU team we played on that Saturday was better than the NW team we played on that Saturday.

Just my opinion. Both were awful losses, and avoidable.

Had we barely won them both, I'd feel no more confident in winning the West than I do now, but I'd be nice to be 7-0 with a real shot at 9, maybe 10 wins. As it is, we need some breaks to get to 7, maybe 8 wins.

I have little confidence in bea ting Wisc, but I've seen stranger things.

Go Hawks.
