Create an Expansion Sports Franchise

So this is something some friends and I were talking about recently. The hypothetical question is, if you were going to start a new, top-level (NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB) sports team, what city would you choose and what league would you choose? What about that particular city and that particular sport would make it viable? What would you call your team? What would the colors be? Who would be the teams rivals? Would you have to build a new stadium or would you play in an existing stadium? Other details?

NBA, Shangai or Beijing China. New Stadium 75-80 thousand capacity expandable to 100k. Colors Red and Yellow. Team name Tigers, Dragons, United, Dynasty or Nationals. The teams rivals would be every other NBA team. My coach would be Steve nash when he retires. The insane revenue generated for the NBA would allow me to make them remove the Cap and the insane revenue created for the team would allow my GM to offer player contracts so insane that no other team could match them.
 
NBA, Vegas. The right size of town for a franchise and that would be a rabid crowd considering 50% of them would likely hit the sports book first.
