Crazy Ending

Did anyone just catch the end of the Mich Purdue game? I wish the Hawks could get some crazy luck to go their way at the end of the game like that. CLUTCH
 
Mich. did not choke thats for sure. Purdue probably played their best game all year, hopefully they got it out of their system so Iowa can pound them Sun.

Now come on Illinois beat them cornhuskers
 
This ending helps to cope with the last 2 Iowa loses. Had we won those 2 games this ending would have hurt bad.

How on earth does Purdue let him make that play towards the basket? In my opinion that guy should have never gone for the steal. He should have just kept in front of GR3 and made him shoot a long jumper.
 
Anyone remember the last time we hit a buzzer beater where we were trailing and it gave us the win (like the NW State loss.) Everyone I remember we were tied and it gave us the win. Seems like every team in basketball gets at least one win like that a year and we haven't had one that I can even remember.

Andre Woolridge vs. MSU in 1995? I have a hard time remembering one since then.
 
Not luck...perfect execution of a brilliant play call. LeVert threw a great pass, and the PU defender gambled, letting GRIII get to the hoop. If the PU defender does not gamble, GRIII would have had a pull up jumper.
Great play call as Michigan knew that PU would overplay Stauskas. Good outcomes when you execute.

Michigan did have that tap-in attempt by Morgan roll off the rim last year vs IU that cost them the Big Ten title...so no, they do not always get the roll.

The fact that the pass stayed in the air too long made the play. The defender went for the pass instead of staying in front of his man. Tough for a defender to not go after that pass, though.

Incredible inbound pass. They run that play 10 times and I bet he makes that pass only 1 time. Just incredible exucution and Yes LUCK.
