Couple of records I hope are broken next year

1. Most wins in back to back seasons:
Current Record: 21 (2002 - 11 / 2003 - 10)
I think the 2010 Hawks stand a very good chance of winning 11 games either by finishing 10-2 in the regular season and winning their bowl game or even the possibility of finishing 11-1 or even undefeated at 12-0. Any way you look at it, this record would be the coolest record to beat.

2. Career Receptions
Current Record: 157 by Kevin Kasper
I know DJK has over 100 receptions, so he has a good shot to own this record if he has a big senior season

3. Career Receiving Yards
Current Record: 2,271 Tim Dwight
I know DJK had over 400 yards as a freshman, over 700 as a Soph and over 650 as a junior so this record is well within reach too if he has a solid senior year

4. Highest career winning percentage by a starting QB:
I know Brad Banks was 11-2, but I would qualify this record by QB's with at least 20 games started and I think Stanzi will finish with the highest career winning percentage of any Iowa QB.

Cool stuff to shoot for.

1. The Hawks need 11 wins for the best 2 year stretch (21 in '02 - '03), 12 wins for the best
3 years stretch (31 in '02 - '04) and 13 wins for the best 4 year stretch (38 in '01 - '04 or
'02 - '05).

2 & 3. DJK has 127 catches for 1,871 yards in his career so far. That leaves him 30
receptions and 400 yards short of the records. If he averages his career stats per
game, he will break both record in the Indiana game (9th this season). He will more
than likely break both records.

4. Stanzi is almost guaranteed to set the record if you are talking about multi-year QB
starters. My calculation is that he would have to go 8-5 or better this season to have a
better career win percentage than Chuck Long. If you include Banks's single season, then
Iowa has to go at least 12-1.
