Looks to be Pretty decent for a 6'10" freshman. For being that tall, and that young he isn't all awkward or anything. Looks to run well, and is playing above the rim already. Should only get more coordinated and stronger over the next 4 year. Actually looks like a legit top 100 type player.

Love the excitement, but shouldn't anyone 6'10 be playing above the rim especially when he's possibly a foot and a half taller than most kids his age.

How athletic do you think 6'10" 14 year olds should be? Of course he can dunk, but he is much more coordinated than I thought a 14 year old his height would be.

Lol. Agreed about the athleticism but it shouldn't require that much for any one that height to play above the rim. Just messin in my original response. 6'10 as a freshman is huge.

Looks like he could really be a good one. Moves well and has a smooth stroke for a big guy. Other bigs will have to respect his range to what easily looks like 15ft. 6'10" with a decent vertical. Has 4yrs to add strength and further hone his game. Hope Fran can land him.

I'll slide that one into the fat chance category, but hey you can't get em unless you go after em. Gonna be a tough one to pull away from KU I imagine.

Tyler Cook had an early KU offer but they recruited right over top of him. Lot of time to go with this kid. But, yeah, if KU really wants him, we're out of luck.

Did anyone listen to AJ Blazek on the Huddle Cast? AJ Blazek said that his nephew just got an Iowa BB Iowa, so I'm thinking that is Xavier. Someone else posted on another board that Xavier's grandfather played football for Iowa, so that makes sense as AJ also said on the podcast that his wife's father played football for Iowa.

Xavier looks like all he has to do is get stronger and not regress and he's already B1G talented. If that minimum happens, he'd be an excellent get. Someone mused "top 100" and I'd agree.
