Could we see Mike Meyer on any FG or XP?

Why would his leash be short? Because somebody else got beat and 'Zona tipped an XP? Mossbrucker should finally get the chance to kick a FG or two today (I hope). Ferentz isn't likely to make the switch to a true freshman RIGHT before Big Ten play.

I'd like to believe that Mossbrucker can be the kicker, but he's missed WAY too many easy kicks. If I'm KF, I at least give Meyer a shot maybe later in the game. We MUST have a kicker in the B10.

Well, I guess you were wrong. =o)

I'm not gonna argue who the best kicker on the team is because the coaches are there every day and are the best judges. If Meyer is kicking, I'll assume KF thinks he's the best. I will; however, question your judgement. "he's missed WAY too many easy kicks." Ummm, really. He is 13/15 on his career for field goals with 1 of those 2 missed being blocked (against FIU) and and 44/47 in XP's. And 1 of those was a block. The other 2 came in the same game against Purdue. So outside of that one Purdue game, Mossbrucker NEVER missed an extra point that wasn't blocked and he only missed 1 field goal that wasn't blocked.

Me thinks you are a professional exaggerator. Look up the facts before you go spouting "he's missed WAY too many easy kicks." And use all caps on WAY like he's missed so many field goals it isn't worth counting. 1 miss. That's how many he's missed. 1. And it was a 31 yarder against Illinois, which I personally don't consider "easy". Which "easy" kicks did he miss that are using as proof? You only have 1 option.
