Could Campbell be a top Lbkr

His read/react seems light years ahead of benson, but benson seems to be a bit more athletically gifted, but honestly you watch the tape and when campbells in there he just makes plays. Next year there is no doubt he'll be starting opposite diji or somebody. maybe benson and campbell start next year, i don't know. hard at this point to justify keeping campbell off the field. I think he's still working on his conditioning otherwise he'd probably be in there more.

Yeah I had a bad case of mono and missed my last 6 weeks or so of senior year of high school. I had some bad jaundice with it and a bad reaction to some medicine and did not feel myself for several months. It can be a bitch.

I was wondering if he had size to play de maybe. He’d be a great pass rusher and our dl might be lacking Depth next year

Right now he's showing great potential to be a big time MLB...but you may be right here. He's 245 right now...and I could see him at 265 in a few years...and he would be a nightmare on the edge. It will be interesting to see where he goes...but this is definitely a possibility.

Yeah, said this in the game thread yesterday when someone compared him to Greenway. He’s gonna be a lot bigger than Greenway was. He’s got great closing speed. Not sure how his lateral quickness or cover ability are. But at 6’5” and 265-275, with that speed he’d be a really good edge.

Interesting .

Matt Roth pretty much did the same thing, outgrowing LB and becoming a DE because we had a better need there.

Colbert will be back next year and Jacobs may be too good to keep off the field. I wish Jacobs would get more reps this year but neither Parker liked to rotate linebackers very much. When we go Cash, that puts a linebacker on the sideline and Barrington Wade is frequently the odd man out. I think it affects Jacobs a little bit as well.

Which Colbert are you talking about?

Dmijon, who opted out and has already said he would return in 2021.

Whether he has improved covering backs out of the backfield is a different story.

Ok, I thought Dmijon was transferring or had transferred. His late season problems in pass coverage took him off the field and I thought he saw too many Lbkrs getting ahead of him.

JC is a stud, reminds me of Greenway. Take a look at the replay....the play following the long qb run that was called back. He bolted and made a TFL.
