He's already bigger than Ben. THis spring the U listed him at 242 and I doubt he's lost any weight since then.Stanley is a thick ass dude. He could end up Big Ben sized before its all over

2 TE sets with Fant and Hockenson, Easley over the top = Gronk, Hernandez, and Welker/Edelman. We're ok with the WRs we have. Whether Brian the Brain recognizes it remains to be seen. All of the Brain Ferentz fanboys on this site touting his Patriots connections need to chime in now.You want him to be successful...find him some top WRs.
Prolly just the OL, tbh. The line looks like it hasn't been competently coached in years. The problems they have had against 3-4 defenses have been remarkable and I hope Ferentz finds the responsible party and sends their ass packing. If I were an opposing coach, I would throw all sorts of 3-4 looks at Iowa and alternate where the pressure comes from. If they couldn't stop it last year with Daniels at center, this year will be twice as bad.The OL and running backs are the glaring holy shit subject this year.
I know Ben is listed at 241 but it was always assumed he was more towards 260. Regardless...those are some big boys
You know what they say about complainers... Seriously though, the interior could be an issue and the tackles could be an issue if the injury bug lurks around; not to mention everyone diminishing Wadley's impact last year.Prolly just the OL, tbh. One other thing to note, everyone keeps going on and on about WRs, but look at what Belichick was able to do with the trio mentioned above. He did it without prototypical superstar WRs. Welker and Edelman are both under 6' and 200 lbs. There was no Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones, or DeAndre Hopkins type. if Brain is such a Patriot than he should probably be exploiting this.
Just like how everyone on the basketball boards is bitching about the Hawks offense, the receiving corps and QB is the least of our offensive problems. We have the perfect setup going here with Fant, Hockenson, and Easley. The OL and running backs are the glaring holy shit subject this year.
Agreed with everything you said here, my sentiments exactly. This year is the year of the offense or Brian is never going to be a successful OC. I’m pretty optimistic though. I’m really hoping that the RBs surprise us, but that comes down to the OL really. Young and IKM aren’t going to be as explosive as Wadley, so the OL is going to need to step it up. But if Stanley can mount sometching like the passing game we had in ‘04 and continue to keep his picks down we might fair well without a stellar running game.2 TE sets with Fant and Hockenson, Easley over the top = Gronk, Hernandez, and Welker/Edelman. You probably would have a tanMan, I really want this kid to fucking win. Makes me wonder what I could've done if I had the family support he had.
