Because he didn't do much against the better teams when the game mattered and his 3 inch vertical. He showed promise late, but it was inconsistent. He had better but similar stats to Fernando, but Maryland won 2x as many games.

Iowa just didn't have the body of work.

Frazier and Jackson are givens
Davidson got a lot more minutes and was probably a toss up.
Wesson had identical stats playing with a much better team
Fernando is quite arguable but 8 wins to 4 wins I guess trumps things.
