Conpiracy Theory at UCLA

So what if did? Isn't the goal to win a conference championship? If Mora felt his team was better off playing Stanford than Oregon then he should have played to lose last week. I thought UCLA should have just started their second string last week.

This is also why I bet on Stanford last week.

Not sure why people think Oregon is so much better than Stanford. They have a way better defense and can run the ball really well and have some weapons in the pass game. Honestly I think they should have beat ND and be in a much better position than they currently are, which Iowa fans would love to be in.

Lets get some money together and some briefs on the situation and fly this guy in to IC for the next presser.

My plant manager's son play for Stanford. He mentioned this morning that the message boards were blowing up the UCLA threw the game to play Stanford again. Stanford's Defense is pretty darn tough (holding Oregon to 14 points should prove that.....at Oregon). Their new QB is starting to play ball. I look for them to take it to the Bruins on Friday night.

BTW--his son went to high school in the Cedar Rapids area. Was not heavily recruited by Iowa, only offering him a walk-on opportunity. He choose to go to Stanford as a walk-on and after his redshirt year, he was placed on a full ride. Yeah, I think we missed recruiting that one!

Why, who is he? Has he actually played this year?

David Parry--Linn Mar. Red-Shirt Sophomore, who went to Stanford as a walk-on, as his family had ties to the San Fransico area.
Playing? Yes, up to the UCLA game he was getting about 50% of the defensive snaps at NG. Since the "starter" had to deal with personnal issues, David started and played his best game of the year against UCLA.

Here is an article discussing David after that UCLA game. He was also a guest on the David Shaw radio show this week.

Stanford has some damn good lines on both sides of the ball, so yes we probably could have used him.

It is scary to think that they are one questionable call (at Notre Dame in OT) away from having a better season than they did with some guy names Luck at quarterback last year!
