Congrats to Purdue!

3 Big Ten teams in the sweet 16. Good showing again! Both Purdue and Mich St surviving major losses.

Took the words right out of my mouth. You have to like Painter. If Lusk has learned from him and Keady, he may well be a candidate for our job.

Cramer is really tough.

Every time I see Gene Keady on television, I am struck by the notion that he was allowed to go out on his own terms and pick his successor (Painter) while Tom Davis was not.

Purdue's program, obviously, is in MUCH better shape than Iowa's today.

I don't think that's a coincidence.

Hindsight is always 20/20, I was on the Alford bandwagon just like everyone else was.

Except that not everyone was.

I just hope the lesson is learned should Kirk Ferentz choose to make Iowa his last coaching stop (which we all hope for).

I called no big 10 teams in the sweet 16 and the only team I gave a chance was Wisky....wow was I wrong.

I was amazed that during the Purdue run how much hand and body contact Purdue was allowed. It really got to the A&M players and I thought they may take a swing at one point. That to me was the difference.

Strange tournament. B10 has three teams left, three other major conferences have two. ACC has only Duke left. I wish Purdue had Hummel back for its game with Duke. All this bragging on the Big East being so tough hasn't showed up. Syracuse has Butler next and west Virginia gets Washington.

The Big 10 has looked good so far. This has to be one of the best first two weeks of the Tournament that I have seen in a while.
