Congrats Desmond King

Desmond King took a risk coming back for his senior year. I am so glad things have worked out for him. You can't help but cheer for the guy. I hope he finally gets his big payday when free agency kicks in.
It will be interesting to see how many of those defensive back's drafted ahead of him are still in the league when he signs his second deal.

If the Chargers were smart, they would give him a deal now. They won't because they aren't.
They would have to cut some high salaried veterans to do it. Also, there's this Rivers fellow on that team that commands a sizable percentage of the salary cap. Finally, there's the impending CBA to negotiate after the 2020 season.
I don't know if the baseball type deal you mention is even allowed under the current CBA. When certain players do hold out it's usually after their third year or after their fourth year when they get franchise tagged. A smart player may want to see how the dust settles after the new CBA is negotiated in 2021.

Favorite Desmond King game was the Michigan upset in 2016. They were ranked #3. King brought a attitude to that game Iowa fans aren't used to seeing. King was in guys faces.

Doubt KF allows that if not him being a returning all american senior thorpe award winner.

If Kittles team is even below average instead of terrible he's first team.
I dunno about that. Kelce had a monster year too... More TDs a ton of yards and catches as well. Needless to say Kittle did awesome and isn't under the radar anymore. Dude is a marked man now. Good for him

How about some of Matt Roth's behavior at the end? He was starting to become Bosworth-lite. I remember at a Capitol One fan rally how he mentioned he had two things to say to LSU. He raised both middle fingers in the air.
