Comment of Divisions

So if I’m understanding this correctly, when Iowa incurs their annual loss to NW in 2 weeks, NW will be in the B1G “title” game, only to experience a pounding from UM, where UM will already likely be the de facto conference champion after beating OSU, therefore the championship game only serves as a liability to injury or a loss to a team who got beat by Akron. I’m so tired of this division shit, and the West is such a farce this year the entire set up is simply stupid. Garbage conference hell bent on greed. Iowa’s problems are so far beyond their inability to beat UW, or anyone of substance, but this division crap takes so much parody out of the traditional B1G schedule. I do not like it at all.

Haha, I had to laugh that you would bring that up. It seems when we beat NW now it is when we are not expected to . I mean KF shits the bed more against Iowa St and NW than any teams and it is easy to know why, both those teams do not feel they match up all that well with Iowa entirely so they throw the kitchen sink at Iowa.

They bliitz and disrupt and that is what you do to mess up KF's execution and win

Iowa still just needs to win out to win the division. Wisconsin is not winning out.

I bet you they do. Wisconsin has Purdue and Penn State at home and they are not losing to Rutgers or Minnesota on the road.

IMO Iowa pissed this season down it’s leg!!

Wisconsin isn’t that good. Theyll lose to Penn State or Purdue or both. I think Penn State is in HV for them. The hard part is us winning out. We’ll be favored in every game and probably by double digits, except Purdue which will be closer to 5, I’m guessing.

So Iowa still has a chance to have the nicest home in the West if everyone’s home burns to the ground. It’s a proud day in Hawkeye Land. Throw more money at Kirk.

Let's not be too hard on the West division.

NW has a solid victory over MSU in East Lansing

Purdue beat OSU by 29 points!

Iowa overall finished 2-1 against the East.

The West's big problem is It never wins the CCG, which suggests that the best team is always in the East. The East has more depth.

Iowa plays too many soft teams. This year with ISU missing the first game, IA caught ISU at a good time for a win. Not saying ISU would beat IA but they would have had a game under their belt to make improvements and the game would have been more challenging. Iowa needs to play better competition so they can learn how to play in the tough games. The BIG had a chance to get Iowa a better game with the cross over and Iowa pulls the worst team in the conference and arguably the worst team in FBS Rutgers.

You can't expect to compete/beat high level teams playing the West bottom feeders, UNI, Northern Illinois and middle Tennessee State. It should keep Iowa healthy Look at Alabama's schedule and they have about 5 bye weeks too? Bottom line IA needs to have more strong games on the schedule to prepare and perform when situations like yesterday present.
