After seeing the Wake and UNI games the hawks are a lot more fun and can score quickly. Anyone know how many times Licks teams came from 10 down in a game? Or even 6? I know we had to come back from down 10 (even if we lost) but I cant remember any. Lots of times I remember seeing hawks down by 6 with 4 minutes to play and feel it would take a miracle to win. Going back to Alford teams they did have some comebacks and that down 6 feelng would hit at about a minute to play. I still had more hope at a minute than I did with Lick teams down 6 at half.
With this style of play and the hustle, players crashing boards, moving off the ball, just plain energy and seeing them having fun I dont think that feeling would hit until under 30 secs.
