In the first half especially, stauskus would dribble around the high post area with guys guarding him closely for time inmemorial , 5 seconds, 6 seconds, 7 seconds,

Isnt this a turnover, call the arsehole for being guarded closely,

These refs are a joke, call the game the way it is supposed to be called,

The officiating makes it really hard to watch and really get into college bball. The hawks got away with some hacks also.

But I cannot believe Michigan plays man to man most of the game and hardly gives us the bonus.

Big Ten Official Response:

"A five second closely guarded violation may be called against an offensive player with the ball when that player is guarded closely for five seconds or more and does not pass, shoot, or dribble within that time. However, this does not apply in away games that involve Iowa (or key games that involve Iowa teams). It is in the best interest of the conference that teams from Michigan, Ohio, or Wisconsin preferably get the benefit of the doubt."
