On the bomb to Vandeberg, the defensive back grabbed him to prevent what looked like a potential touchdown. Michigan State's d-back got burned and he did the only thing he could do to prevent Iowa from scoring. I don't really have a problem with that, smart play. The NCAA rule on pass interference gives the defense an unfair benefit. Instead of first down where the foul occurred, its marked off as a 15 yard penalty from the line of scrimmage. On long pass plays thats a huge difference in yardage. This play may have actually cost Iowa the game.
