We would probably be undefeated this year and Big 10 champs last year had he came to iowa. Beathard has absolutely no chance.

And a OC who apparently doesn't recognize the struggles on pass protection...and refuses to change anything to help.
CJ is holding the ball a touch too long at times, true...but an even Decent OC would help him out with that as well....

I think Alaric Jackson can do a better job. He's a true freshman that rounded out our 2016 class. That might be asking to much, but I'm tired of Croston already. Oh, I forgot Croston is an Iowa kid. Isn't that the direction Kirk is taking this program.
Didn't Ed Cunningham from ESPN call this offensive line the best in college football? I'm not seeing it this year as evidenced in the North Dakota State & Rutgers game.

It really hurts our program when there's holes in the roster so players need to step in before they're ready. The reason it hurts so much is they stay the starter until they graduate no matter what. If we didn't have a hole in the roster last year, Croston would have never been a starter. Then this year, they would have chosen the best player for the position instead of continuing with the guy who was only playing out of necessity. He may have been the best option last year. But i's it even possible that no young talent has surpassed him this year?
