I could be wrong, but i think the only year he was in Iowa City was when Brands was there. Unless he was there for more than one year, if so maybe he was there for both.

I think that the story said that he spent his red shirt year at Iowa after his junior college career. Not sure when he did it though......or who the coach was.

He won a Juco title as a Freshman and then took a RS at Juco. He used his soph year as a backup at Iowa as he could not make 157 and could not beat M* or Jay.
