Coker

Keeping Robinson and Hampton both healthy every week will play heavily in this. Along with obviously how ready Coker is, and how much he could contribute and help the team. We all know the premium Iowa places on the RB's ability to block and pick-up the blitz.

Didn't KF say something last night about Coker playing special teams? With the stable of young running backs we have now, and those we are recruiting I wouldn't be terribly upset to see him play on special teams this year.

White has sprained knee and out for few weeks. Tillison is okay and practicing.

Maybe Coker is the exception but I have to think he is way behind after missing all the fundamental drills, plays etc in pre-season practicees. Practices now focus more on game plan and not so much on the fundamentals.

As Jon indicated, if AR and JH stay healthy, no need to play Coker. I think D Johnson may be the RB used if injuries make it necessary. Or they move Brad Rogers back to RB.

I know a lot of poters think it's cool to poke fun at Paki, but I've been pleased to see some improvement from him so far. He's been running harder and picking up positive yards after contact this year.
